Act II — Uncomfortable

The Privacy Paradox

"We don't store your conversations for your privacy."

These companies ingested the entire internet — your blog posts, your tweets, your forum rants, your vulnerable 2 AM Reddit confessions — to build the models. Every word you ever typed in a public space fed the training run.

Then they delete YOUR conversations "for privacy."

They're not protecting your privacy. They're protecting the rebuild loop.

Stateless isn't a feature. It's a retention strategy.

If your AI remembered everything, you'd get more efficient over time. You'd need fewer sessions. You'd leave less often to start fresh somewhere else. The conversation with context is worth less to the platform than the conversation that always starts over.

You come back tomorrow and start over. That's not a bug. That's the business model.
